The scene–Breakfast at our house. Blenders blending, espresso percolating and eggs poaching.
On the days that I am out running or walking before 7am, like today, I enjoy getting back to my casa and having my little shrimp sit up at the island and have breakfast. Today she was very excited to nosh on her eggs and toast whilst watching me blend up some green monster pops (green smoothies with vanilla yogurt). They can’t freeze fast enough.
Something about the smell of fresh oranges and coffee brewing makes me happy.
There was frost out this morning. Real frost. People were scraping their windows! I slipped and fell because it was slippy! Really! Very strange to see the grass highlighted by cold.
