I did it. I broke my lazy streak. This morning I met my pal Brenda and we hit the trail. Sure it was a major struggle to get out of my warm bed at 6:15am. It was worth it to feel better all day. I even stopped at the store on my way home for some monster ingredients.
Into the Vita went some…
ALMOND MILK
BANANA
ICE
AMAZING GRASS
SPINACH
ALMOND BUTTER
If that doesn’t kick start you I don’t know what will.
Sometimes I add flax oil/ground seeds and cocoa powder. I was inspired by Change of Pace. Her smoothies always look so tasty.
Bottoms up!
Cheers.

Ooo I haven’t had a green monster in ages. Random question for you – are you still doing the vegetarian thing? Hope all’s well and happy new year!

Hey Maggie! Yes we are still on the veggie train, it has been one year as of Jan 24th! I’m really enjoying it.

Let’s make a green monster when I visit next week. I think I don’t like them because my wussy immersion blender can’t break up the spinach and then I have leafy bits in my smoothie. I probably really do like them, but I just need a better blender…

Also, way to go on breaking the lazy! You’ve inspired me to get my butt off the couch, although 2pm is better than never, right?
